In late 2020, a diverse group of Aviation Museum of N.H. stakeholders began meeting to create a five-year strategic plan for the organization.
Their efforts, ratified by our board of directors in 2021, resulted in a road map to help guide the Aviation Museum through 2026.
The plan included a restatement of our Mission Statement:
To preserve New Hampshire’s rich aviation heritage and inspire today’s youth to become tomorrow’s aerospace pioneers.
It also included a vision statement:
To be the region’s leading resource and advocate for local aviation history, preservation, exhibits, and education.
Furthermore, the plan identified three areas of focus: historic preservation, youth education, and the people who carry out our mission.
