Imagine the buzz in your classroom as you embark on an aviation adventure that brings the wonders of the sky right to your students’ fingertips. Through our aviation field trips and museum tours, our goal is to spark wonder and curiosity that transcends traditional education boundaries. Here’s how we do it:
- Exciting Aerial Lessons: Our dedicated team of educators is committed to delivering captivating aviation programs during your visit to our museum. These experiences are not your run-of-the-mill lessons; they immerse students in the world of flight. From delving into the mechanics of aviation to uncovering the rich tapestry of flight history, our programs are designed to make each student feel as if they’re soaring through the skies themselves.
- Tailored Adventures for Every Class: We understand that every classroom is unique, and so are your students’ needs. That’s why we offer a diverse range of programs tailored to meet your specific requirements. Whether you’re teaching elementary school students or high school seniors, our curriculum is adaptable to ensure that every student derives maximum value from their aviation journey.
- Inspiration Takes Flight: Education isn’t just about facts and figures; it’s about kindling a lifelong passion for learning. Our aviation field trips and museum tours aim to do just that by igniting a love for flight and exploration among your students. We want them to gaze up at the sky and dream big, understanding that the sky is not the limit but the gateway to endless possibilities.
- Flexible Scheduling, Seamless Adventures: We understand that managing schedules can be a challenge for educators. That’s why we work closely with you to organize the perfect aviation adventure for your school. Whether it’s a one-time visit or a series of lessons, we’re here to ensure a smooth and convenient process.
- Accessible Pricing: As a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community, we are committed to making aviation education accessible to all, irrespective of financial constraints. Our pricing is open to negotiation because we want every school and every student to experience the wonder of aviation without the burden of budget concerns. Enriching your community’s education remains our top priority.
Embark on an aviation journey with your students that they’ll cherish, and let them uncover the marvels of flight at our museum.
Field Trips to Our Museum: Instead of conducting educational programs at your school, we invite you to bring your students to our museum for an immersive learning experience. Our museum offers a range of educational programs that are designed to engage and inform students while surrounded by aviation history and exhibits. Upon request, each program can also include a guided museum tour.
Elite Flight Simulator Experience: For students aged 12 and up, we provide an exclusive Elite flight simulator experience, available upon request. This hands-on aviation adventure adds an exciting dimension to the educational experience.
Pricing: When you book any of our educational programs as a field trip to our museum, the tour cost is included at no additional charge. Typically our programs cost around $5-$10 per student depending on the specific program. However, if you’re interested in booking only a museum tour without an educational program, there is a cost of $5 per person.
Booking Dates and Times: Field trips to our museum can be scheduled from Monday to Thursday, between 9 AM and 3 PM, as the museum is open to the public at other times. This exclusive access ensures that your students will have the entire museum to themselves during their visit.
Duration of Field Trips: For groups of 24 or fewer students, we recommend a two-hour duration for the field trip. This allows sufficient time for engaging in educational activities, learning valuable lessons, and exploring our museum. If you have a larger group, please use the form below to contact us so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Explore Our Program Guide: For a comprehensive overview of our aviation programs, including details on each program’s content and objectives, we invite you to explore our program guide. You can find this valuable resource in our monthly newsletter. It’s a one-stop destination to help you choose the perfect aviation program that aligns seamlessly with your curriculum and your students’ interests.
